This is a random search task, simulating the task of searching the screen.

Circles are displayed in random positions on the screen. One of the circles is broken to produce a 'C shape'.  Any significant breakdown in vision (such as blurring or double vision that the user experiences while searching) will increase the time taken to find the 'C'. 

The test is carried out using black circles on a white background and optionally in the user's normal screen colours.

Scoring is based on  the time taken to find the 'C'.  A score of 50% or less indicates that the search time was significantly longer than normal and may indicate a visual problem.  This result is then referenced against the other tests and information entered so as to gauge the significance poor performance.
